QOUR MISSION is to create a thriving and sustainable community garden in Clearwater that encourages organic gardening practices, community engagement and education for environmental stewardship. Our main focus is growing organic food. We offer various activities, including educational events, plant sales that feature edible and medicinal plants, as native flowers and even well even periodic butterfly releases, and tours during special events.

Clearwater Community Gardens, Inc. is a 501c3 Florida Non Profit Corporation established in 2014.

If you are looking for landscape, ornamental or house plants, we recommend you visit the annual plant sale in May offered by our sister organization, the Clearwater Garden Club

What Drives Us

Our Focus

  • Organic Gardening Practices are at the root of what we do. We believe in working in harmony with the natural ecosystem and do not use pesticides, herbicides or any harmful  or toxic chemicals.
  • Community Engagement is at the center of our group. Our members – all volunteers – participate in workshare activities which help maintain and beautify the garden while building friendships and learning from one another.
  • Educational Classes are taught by our resident herbalists and others to help our community learn the benefits of having even a small garden, including medicinal herbs and organic produce.
