To become a member, simply visit our Contact page and request a free garden tour and we will show you around and explain how our community works. Contact us here
Can I visit the garden even if I’m not a member?
Yes! While we do not have regular hours that we are open to the public, we do hold scheduled events and workshops. If you happen to come by on a Saturday morning or Monday late afternoon when we are working as a group to maintain the gardens, feel free to come in and ask for a free tour. We are happy to have visitors.
Do you have a schedule of your events?
We hold a large Plant Sale every spring, which is our main fundraiser, so you wil want to join us for that. It is usually held in early March. We also hold monthly events for members and for the public. These include workshops and educational classes often surrounding how to grow and use herbs and edible plants. We periodically have butterfly releases as well. The best way to stay up to date on our events is to join our Facebook group here
What kind of plants grow in the Pollinator Garden?
The Butterfly Garden features a mix of native nectar plants and host plants to support all stages of a butterfly’s life cycle. You’ll find milkweed for monarchs, passionflower vines, zinnias, and other pollinator-friendly blooms that attract a wide variety of butterflies, bees, and beneficial insects year-round.
Can I volunteer or get involved even if I don't want a garden bed?
Yes! There are many ways to get involved! If you do not want a garden bed, you can become a non-plot member and join a Workshare Team to help based on what you want to learn or use the skills you already have. Contact us to learn more and sign up for a role that fits your interests and schedule.
